Mission

Athena's Apothecary is an entity of healing, sharing, growing and magik through teaching and creating medicine using plants. Herbalism is an ancient form of magik and healing which has been profoundly oppressed through the violent forces of patriarchy and colonization. I aim to be a part of the resurgence of this craft by sharing this knowledge with others and sharing medicine in the world. Herbalism is a practice that has been traditionally based around community care and sovereignty. In the spirit of this, Athena's Apothecary does not seek to be a keeper of knowledge at a high cost, but to be an accessible platform of knowledge sharing about plant medicine. I believe we all have the innate capacity and knowledge to be our own healers and so, Athena's Apothecary shoots an arrow and aims to spread this sentiment in the world. As said by a dear friend, Lilly Evelet, "Our body is our first and last home."
